2017 Academy - Biggest Ever

This June we have again partnered with the MPA for our fifth season of training sessions for communications and branding specialists. As well as including four of Planning Express’ most popular strategic skills courses, we have developed a brand new half day Pitch Perfect course. This year The MPA Academy 2017 also includes a series of courses from specialist social media and business development training providers.

Each of the Planning Express courses included within the MPA Academy cover a specific skill that can significantly improve the way you create, develop and sell great ideas. All are practical, interactive and full of inspirational best practices, models and techniques you can instantly adopt. Our schedule comprises the following:

Better creative briefs

This hands-on half day course uses live briefs and examples and will give you the opportunity to improve your approach to creative brief writing, reinforcing basic good practices and giving special emphasis on areas that can lead to a weak brief.

Idea generation

With this half day course you’ll learn an innovative, failsafe approach for generating fresh ideas and new thinking that gets solutions quickly, so you can feel confident about your ability to generate new ideas in a new and interesting way.

Presentation Skills

With this half day course you’ll learn how to structure your presentation well and be confident as a communicator. You will leave equipped with techniques to make your content concise and compelling and you convincing and engaging.

Strategic Planning Booster

This is a hard working full day course designed to boost your strategic planning skills in all areas, from finding better insight, to better ideas and briefs, to better presenting of strategies. You’ll find out about the latest and greatest ideas, techniques and resources that you can apply day to day.

Pitch Perfect. How to deliver a killer pitch

This half day course can dramatically improve your team’s chance of winning every time. It covers best practice when pitching, pitch do’s and don’ts, and checklists and methodologies to guide you through the 3 key stages of the pitch process.
